implementation specific protocol using pio

Hello,

I want to connect CSR8670 to a microcontroller with speficic SPI bus (specifics timmings), but i don't sure if it's possible to use the SPI port in the chip or implementing a specific SPI bus using PIO's pins. Does someone know anything? any help?

I have other options, with user uart and middle microcontroller how transceiver commands, but i would like to implement it into the CSR8670 and to save electronics components.

I have downloade ADK 4.0 and after to read in datasheet that the I2C protocol is software implemented and to see how is implemented in source included into ADK, i can say that YES is possible to implement any protocol using PIO's ports, so i'm going to investigate and test. It's sad that CSR SUPPORT not provide more documentation,their chips are very powers and usefull, specially in the actually with the IOT movement and BLE technology. :dizzy:
