It fully complies with IEEE 802.11ax/ac and IEEE 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n standards, offering feature-rich wireless connectivity at high standards, and delivering reliable, cost-effective throughput from an extended distance. Optimized RF architecture and base band algorithms provide superb performance and low power consumption. Intelligent MAC design deploys a high efficient offload engine and hardware data processing accelerators which completely offloads Wi-Fi task of the host processor. MT7915DAN is designed to support standard based features in the areas of security, quality of service and international regulations, giving end users the greatest performance any time and in any circumstance. When the DR7915 is inserted into the DR40X9 board, there are 4 radios that can work at the same time, and it can be used as a soft router As we can see, by using this combo,there will be 4 radios working at the same time,and you can configure each radio into AP or STA mode as you wish. DR7915 can work on OpenWrt 21.02 version OS directly, no need to install the driver to support this MTK chipset. We guess it would be a smart option as well to select #DR7915 for applications which require Multi-radios,soft router, Mesh,bonding etc...
